Company History
ASI was founded in 1996 by experts in Emergency Management, Critical Infrastructure
Protection and Communications.
Kendall Post, a well respected design engineer and inventor of numerous medical and
public safety products, then joined the team to develop a new generation public warning
system. As Ken applied systems engineering concepts used in developing systemic
solutions, the founders came to understand the complexity of emergency communications
and how to modernize the system. The result was the EMAlert System which addresses
the entire public warning problem – combining technology with human behavior factors.
